4/19/10 Asst VP Talent Dev & Comms

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant Vice President of Talent Development and Communications. This is a unique “combo” role where someone will work directly with/for me to continue to achieve our aggressive Talent Management objectives, including facilitating ongoing soft skill and HR/Compliance training sessions, building a competency based leadership development system, while creating in-house capability to conduct high impact assessments such as 360 feedback. This person must have experience managing external vendors and be willing and able to role up their sleeves. He/she will help with everything from needs assessment and curriculum design/delivery to making sure catering and room reservations are secure and training materials are printed and ready for distribution.

Additionally, this person will work organization wide to help create quality presentations and communication materials as needed. He/she will work with internal partners to help ensure we have consistent messaging and that both our external HMC website and the internal intranet are up to date and relevant.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, a lot of energy, a solid understanding of adult learning theory and superior project management skills. Prior experience in a small to mid-sized financial services firm is preferred.

4/19/10 Trainers

We are staffing up trainers on contract basis throughout the US to train soft skills to IT service professionals at a Fortune 1000 client. Immediate needs are subject matter experts in (1) problem solving and decision making; and (2) results oriented strategic thinking. Future subject matters may include consultative solutions, managing relationships with customers, innovation and creative intelligence, and project management. Ideal trainers will be dynamic facilitators with experience in the IT services sector and expertise in one or more of the listed topics.
