Learning and Employee Relations Consultant

The Learning and Employee Relations
Consultant will be involved in the design, delivery, and
coordination of professional development, management development,
compliance, and job related learning programs for multiple facilities
in a public sector transportation agency. The incumbent will also
be involved in facilitating performance management processes and handling
employee relations issues. The position reports to the Assistant Director
of Organizational Development and Employee Relations, within the Human
Resource Department
- Experience and Educational Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration,
Communication, Adult Learning/Education or a related field is required.
- Masters Degree in Learning and Development or related field is
strongly preferred
- A minimum of Five years work experience in organizational learning
and development, training program instructional design and stand-up
delivery/facilitation is required.
- Knowledge of e-learning and multi-media training methodologies
is preferred.
- Prior experience in project management is required.
- Experience with employee relations, counseling/coaching is strongly
preferred.
- Myers-Briggs Certification and DISC Certification is preferred.
- Excel and HR Systems/LMS experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel to all Massport facilities (East Boston, South
Boston, Bedford, and Worcester) is required.
